Programming is for computer science majors, right? Not if you are a liberal arts student enrolled in Algorithmic Art, taught by Gonzaga's Professor Rob Bryant. Bryant teaches basic programming to students with no prior experience, showing them how to create images using a programming environment for the visual arts. Students learn the computational skills necessary in today's work environment and are exposed to a course of study they may never have considered. While Bryant hopes eventually to create an Information Technology minor, his primary goal is to give Gonzaga students the tools they need to effectively leverage the power of computers.
