Monday, Sept. 17, Foley Lawn, 4-7 p.m.
On a day when Gonzaga commemorates the historic date that classes at the University were first held, it’s only fitting to celebrate this milestone with a big bash. The celebration – open to all Gonzaga students, faculty, staff and their families – will feature a food fair with many choices as well as numerous desserts, including live anniversary cupcake decorating.
The entertainment will be as plentiful as the food. There will be a kids’ area with Spike, crafts and bouncy fun. The Big Bang Theory and the Boone Street Band will display their musical talents and there will be games, giveaways and interactive booths to enjoy. There will even be photo booths to get your picture taken with Spike.
Some special 125th anniversary videos will debut throughout the evening, highlighting the history of Gonzaga delivering some fun surprises. President Thayne McCulloh will deliver some remarks at 5:30 p.m. and Vice President for Mission Frank Case, S.J., will close the celebration with some reflections.
Faculty and Staff: Tickets, which are free, will be available at the Crosby Desk, Law Dean’s Office and Plant Services beginning Aug. 20 through Sept. 13. Employee ID required. Your family is invited to join you as well!
Students: Your student ID will get you into the festivities!
