Commencement 2012 marks the beginning of Gonzaga’s anniversary celebration. We welcome The Most Reverend Archbishop Desmond Tutu to address the Senior Class and receive an Honorary Doctor of Laws degree.

The 125th Anniversary is the time to come back to campus to remember and relive the "Gonzaga Experience." All classes are invited to join us for special gatherings and events, starting on Friday night at the Spokane Convention Center with entertainment, prizes, birthday cake and spirits!  The campus will be abuzz with Fall Family Weekend activities, including Kraziness in the Kennel. All guests can win exclusive giveaways in our "Passport to the Future" challenge, highlighting Gonzaga’s rich history as well as our promising future.

You have seen the pride across the world – Zags proudly wearing their gear and showing their spirit while traveling, attending athletic events and giving their time to volunteer efforts. Our anniversary is the time for all Zags to unite! Gonzaga alumni chapters around the nation will hold game-watch gatherings at the same time. The Spokane community is invited to join us in a city-wide service effort and downtown game watch featuring special guests, entertainment, prizes and treats. Be ready for a special announcement. Be ready to share Zag inspiration. The date for this event will be determined based on the release of the 2012-13 basketball schedule. Stay tuned.
