The Summer BRIDGE is a pre-orientation program implemented by the Unity Multicultural Education Center. It is designed to to assist students of various ethnic backgrounds in making a smooth and less stressful transition to Gonzaga University and the Spokane area. It compliments the New Student Orientation by providing incoming students with a lifetime of memories and friendships.
BRIDGE introduces students to Gonzaga faculty and staff as well as to other students of similar backgrounds. Students will be building their own bridge into the Gonzaga community and establishing strong and lasting relationships with people who will provide them with priceless information about campus services, programs, and student life.
BRIDGE allows students to build a foundation and a network within the Gonzaga community that will help them through their first year of college. The mentorship and learning process does not end at the conclusion of the BRIDGE program, but will continue on throughout the students' Gonzaga experience.
