Concentrations and Electives

MBA Degree Programs

Gonzaga MBA students complete a third of their program in elective coursework, allowing them the flexibility to tailor the program based on personal and professional goals. Students earn a concentration by completing 9 out of eleven elective credits in one specific discipline. Students may also choose to pursue the MBA of Choice (general MBA) and design their own personalized program with elective credits from all disciplines. Finance
Examples of classes: Advanced Corporate Finance, Mergers & Acquisitions, Investments, Fraud Prevention and Detection, Firms in Financial Distress, Economics of Micro Finance

Marketing
Examples of classes: Creativity and Intuition, Buyer Behavior, Integrated Marketing and Communications, Persuasion, New Product Development, Ethics in Marketing

Entrepreneurship
Examples of classes: Creating New Ventures, Entrepreneurial Strategy, Social Entrepreneurship, Intellectual Property, Competitive Advantage in a Global Economy

General MBA Electives
