Gonzaga University's Master of Accountancy (MAcc) program prepares students for the rapidly changing accounting environment and the dynamic nature of the accounting profession. The accounting program received separate AACSB accreditation in 2009, and is one of only 170 universities in the United States to have received this distinction.
Statistics published annually by the NASBA reveal that Gonzaga MAcc students consistently perform significantly above the national average on all sections of the Uniform CPA exam, due to the program's CPA education and preparation. For 2014/15, Gonzaga held the 20th best 1st-time pass rates in the nation among 255 "large programs".
In 2016 Gonzaga's MAcc program ranked #16! The program has ranked in the Top 30 by US News & World Report, 5 of the last 7 years.
Additionally, our most recent graduating MAcc class boast a 97% job placement rate at graduation and 100% within 3 months of graduation. This is due to the strong relationships our faculty maintain with employers, as well as the excellent on-campus recruiting program.
The MAcc program is a 31-credit degree comprised of eleven core credits and twenty elective credits. Gonzaga's Graduate Accounting programs include the MAcc program focused on Financial Accounting, Reporting, & Forensics and the Master of Science in Taxation degree.
