Undergraduate

A basic set of courses in thought and expression, philosophy, religious studies, mathematics, and English literature is at the foundation of every student's academic experience at Gonzaga. In keeping with the Jesuit ethos of the University, these courses are designed to ensure that every student has the ability to communicate; to solve problems analytically and creatively; to think and express oneself clearly; to be able to formulate an argument; to listen to and work with others; and to have a sense of the larger workings of society as a whole, in terms of justice, politics, and world group dynamics.
