Faculty-Led Programs Summer 2012
What is a faculty-led program? Faculty-led programs are developed and led by GU faculty. The programs usually take place during the summer and can be competitive as space is limited. Operation of a faculty-led program is dependent on administrative approval and minimum enrollment. They may not operate on a yearly basis. Faculty-led programs for 2012 include: |
Exchange ProgramsExchange programs are agreements between GU and foreign universities. Students direct enroll at the partner university for a semester or year and in exchange they send students to GU. Students pay GU tuition. Room and board are paid to the host university. Exchanges can be competitive as there are limited number of spaces available each year. Apply early. GU Exchange programs include: |

Sponsored Honors ProgramsGU students in the Honors program can study anywhere in the world using GU funding, as long as the country does not have a travel warning. The first semester will be considered sponsored. A second semester abroad would be considered a non-sponsored program. |

Non-Sponsored ProgramsNon-sponsored programs for the semester or year require a leave of absence for the purpose of studying abroad. Students receive transfer credit if courses are approved before going abroad and if a minimum grade of C is earned. Federal aid travels through consortium agreements. Administration fee: $400 per year, $200 per semester, $100 per summer program. Regardless of your program selection, all students must process through the GU Study Abroad office.
