Program Requirements

• 2.8 cumulative GPA (through the spring semester prior to your departure for year and fall students; through the fall semester prior to your departure for spring students)
• Junior standing (or higher at the start of the program; apply during your sophomore year. Engineering Track students: Sophomore standing at the start of the program; apply during your freshman year or early in the fall of your sophomore year.
• All students must agree to complete a minimum of 12 credit hours per semester with a maximum course load of 18 credit hours per semester (19 credits allowed if taking ITAL 101, 102, 201, or 202 which are four credits each)

The Gonzaga-in-Florence program is open to all undergraduate students seeking a degree at a U.S. institution who meet the program requirements outlined below.

Priority Application Deadlines

• Fall and Year: March 1
  
• Spring 2012: October 1
  Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis up until the deadline or until the program is filled, whichever comes first. Apply early to reserve your place. GU reserves the right to close the application process early if capacity is reached before the deadline.
  
  Contact the GU Study Abroad office for deadline exceptions. Late applications will be considered case-by-case based on space availability and visa requirements.
