How to apply
Gonzaga-in-Florence Application Information
The Gonzaga-in-Florence program is open to all undergraduate
students seeking a degree at a U.S. institution who meet the program
requirements and are matriculating at a four-year U.S. college or university. Students interested in applying to Gonzaga-in-Florence are encouraged to apply early as space is limited. The application process may close early if the program capacity is reached before the program deadline. Late applications will be considered based on space availability and visa requirements.

Spring 2014: The Study Abroad Office is going to an online application
for the Spring 2014. At this time we are not taking applications for the
Spring 2014. If you have already submitted your application will be
honored and manually inputted into our new system. Students interested in studying abroad in Spring 2014 should be able to apply online starting mid-May.
SUMMER 2013

Program Requirements- 2.5 cumulative GPA (through theSpring 2013)
- Freshman standing (or above) at the time of application
- Enrollment in two courses
- No Italian language requirement

Early Action application deadline is December 15, 2012 for a decision by January 15, 2013. Based on space availability, we will continue to admit qualified students up to March 1, 2013, or until the program is filled.

Program Requirements- 2.8 cumulative GPA (through Spring 2013)
- Junior standing (or above) at the start of the program; apply during your sophomore year.
- Students are required to complete a minimum of 12 credit hours
per semester with a maximum of 19 credits allowed if taking ITAL 101, 102, 201, or 202 which are four
credits each.
- With the exception of students pursuing the
Engineering Track, all students attending for the year must complete
Italian 101 and 102. Students attending one semester must complete
Italian 101. This requirement may be fulfilled prior to or during your
time abroad.

Engineering Track students: Sophomore standing at the start of the program; apply during your freshman year or early in the fall of your sophomore year. - Students are required to complete a minimum of 12 credit hours
