Be Part of the Solution, Be an Electrical Engineer

"Electrical and electronics engineers have made remarkable contributions to our world. Engineers are people who solve problems. Engineers focus on making things work more efficiently and effectively.

IEEE members helped invent the computer, DSL, cellular phones, microchips, and solar panels- to name a few!" (from the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers)

Electrical Engineering deals with the technology of electricity, especially the design and application of circuitry and equipment for power generation and distribution, machine control, and communications.

It now covers a range of subtopics including power, electronics, control systems, signal processing and telecommunications.

The Electrical Engineering program at Gonzaga includes coursework in physics, mathematics, computer science, project management and specific topics in electrical engineering. Those special topics include circuits, communication, power, and digital logic. Students may choose to include a sub-discipline in their studies.
