Off-site Cohort Models
Gonzaga University's two-year Distance Education Graduate Programs are structured for the adult learner. Students who hold a Bachelor degree are eligible for our programs. We use a cohort group structure in which students proceed through a prescribed sequence of classes together. The standards are the same as those set for on-campus students. It is a full-time program offered in a part-time format. Course cycles run for two years, offering two classes each semester. Each course meets Friday evening and Saturday morning, once a month. Our faculty travel to off-campus sites to teach the courses.
For these programs, the School of Education and the Registrar's office register each new student for the first semester. For subsequent semesters, the Registrar's Office will mail registration information to each student. Students will then register for their courses via Internet.
The School of Education does accept up to 6 credits to transfer into the Distance Education program. Contact the department in which you are applying for further details.
