Master of Accountancy

accounting masters

Gonzaga University's Master of Accountancy (MAcc) program prepares students for the rapidly changing accounting environment and the dynamic nature of the accounting profession. The accounting program received separate AACSB accreditation in 2009, and is one of only 170 universities in the United States to have received this distinction.

Statistics published annually by the NASBA reveal that Gonzaga MAcc students consistently perform significantly above the national average on all sections of the Uniform CPA examination. For 2012, Gonzaga ranked No. 14 in the nation for first-time pass rates among 255 "large programs".

Additionally, graduating MAcc students boast a 90% job placement rate within 3-6 months of graduation due to the strong relationships our faculty maintain with employers, as well as the excellent on-campus recruiting program.

The MAcc program is a 31-credit degree comprised of eleven core credits and twenty elective credits. Students may select either the Financial Accounting & Reporting Concentration or the Taxation Concentration.

For more information about the MAcc curriculum, please refer to the MAcc Program Curriculum Overview Sheet.
