How to Report an Incident

I.  File a Report Online:

Anonymous Report of Sexual Misconduct: If it happened to you
If you want to report an incident of sexual and/or relationship misconduct that you experienced,
you can report anonymously online by clicking here. You do not have to provide your name.

Third Party Report of Sexual Misconduct: If it happened to another person
If you want to report an incident of sexual and/or relationship misconduct that happened to another
person, please click here. You do not have to provide the names.

Filling out these forms will help the University identify and track non-consensual sexual experiences reported anonymously. This is not a police report, nor are you required to file a police report.
This report may or may not be included in the University's annual statistical disclosure required by Federal law. For more information call the Sexual Assault and Harm Prevention Program (323-5566).
For resources and support, please visit our Resources page.

II.  Meet with a SART First Responder (available 24/7):

This is our commitment to you:

All SART First Responders are trained to assist you and guarantee that they will:
  • Meet with you privately, at a time and local place of your choice, to take your report.
  • Treat you with courtesy, sensitivity, dignity, understanding, and professionalism.
  • Assist you in arranging for any necessary hospital visit, other medical needs, and/or emergency housing.
  • Attempt to accommodate personal requests, such as having a friend or advocate of your choice present during your interaction with SART.
  • Assist you in privately acquiring counseling and other available resources.
  • Continue to be available to answer your questions, to explain the system and process involved(prosecutor, courts, etc.) and to ba a listening ear.
Please be aware:
Alcohol Violations: It is our goal that students report all incidents of sexual or relationship misconduct so that those affected can receive the support and resources they need. Therefore, violations of the University's alcohol policy by the reporting party may be exempt from disciplinary action in these circumstances. However, the University may initiate an educational discussion about the use of alcohol and its impact.
