State Work-Study
State Work-Study Application
Community Connections for the Homeless (CCH) is a State Work-Study outreach project sponsored by the Center for Community Action and Service-Learning in partnership with two local shelters for the homeless. State Work Study students will work on staff at either the House of Charity or St. Margaret’s Women’s and Children’s Shelter, both located in downtown Spokane. In addition to the day to day responsibilities at the shelters, you’ll develop projects to build community and help leverage people out of homelessness—a unique opportunity for college students. Not only does this job pay well (starting at $9.55/hour), it also helps Gonzaga live out its mission of creating men and women for others. If you have any questions regarding these positions, please contact Hilary Case by calling 509-313-5543 or by emailing case@gonzaga.edu.
