About me: Born in Michigan, I grew up loving tall maple trees that turned deep colors in the autumn, Tigers baseball...(yes), and riding bikes. Moving to Pasadena, California with my family created a love for the Pacific Ocean, the Rose Bowl and In and Out Burgers. Now, living in Spokane since college, I’ve gained a love for the mountains and waters, the sunsets, pines, and wide places of the prairies. But it is the people here who have become family and lifelong friends that have made the difference. The richness of many years of teaching, my incredible children and family, and now here at Gonzaga living inside a community of faith that promotes the good, believes in change, and seeks truth… this is indeed the good life!
My definition of success: "Not submitting to failure. Living Generously, Living with Purpose; Willing to be in Change; Seeking, Loving and Speaking the Truth; Dignifying the Small Things; Prizing one Another."
II Corinthians 6: 10 b “…..as poor yet making many rich, as having nothing, yet possessing all things.”
Pour out the best you have, and always be poor. Never be diplomatic and careful about the treasures God gives. This is poverty triumphant!
