RESERVE OFFICERS’ TRAINING CORPS (ROTC)

The United States Army maintains an ROTC Military Science Department at Gonzaga University. The ROTC program is a cooperative effort between the Army and the University to develop the future leadership of the Army and the nation. Students are offered an opportunity to earn a commission as a Second Lieutenant and serve their country in either the Active Army or the National Guard/Army Reserve. Cadets incur no obligation during the first two years of ROTC unless on scholarship and will enroll in a wide variety of leadership development classes, leadership laboratory, and other activities. The ROTC Office, located in AD 138, is open 8 am - 5 pm Monday through Thursday, 8 am to 2 pm Friday and can be reached at extension 6517 or 6512.
