SPRING SEMESTER 2013
Opening After Christmas Break (Incl. Check-in for New Spring Semester Residents)
Residence buildings reopen for the spring semester on Sunday, January 13, 2013 at 10 am. New residents may check-in at their assigned building.
Spring Break
All residence buildings will remain accessible to spring semester residents. However, residents must notify their Residence Director if they plan to stay all or part of the break.
The Marketplace Dining Hall (COG) will be closed during spring break.
Check-Out
Saturday, May 11, 2013 2:00 pm:
Residents must vacate their room within 24 hours of their last final exam or by Saturday, May 11, 2013 at 2 pm (whichever occurs first). Those graduating or needing an extension to these deadlines should contact their Resident Director well in advance.
FALL SEMESTER 2013
Opening for Fall Semester
For new students, the residence halls and on-campus apartments open for the fall semester on Friday, August 30, 2013, 9 am - 4 pm or Saturday, August 31, 2013, 9 am - noon. New residents may check-in at their assigned building.
For returning residents, the residence halls and on-campus apartments open for the fall semester on Sunday, September 1, 2013 at 10 am - 4 pm. Returning residents may check-in at their assigned building.
Thanksgiving Break Week
All residence buildings will remain accessible to fall semester occupants. However, residents must notify their Residence Director if they plan to stay all or part of the break.
Closing for Christmas Break (Incl. Check-out for Residents Not Returning for the Spring Semester)
Except for Burch, Corkery, and Kennedy [1] all residence buildings close for the Christmas break. Residents must vacate their room within 24 hours of their last final exam or by Saturday, December 21, at 10 am (whichever occurs first). If travel plans change due to flight delays or poor road conditions, residents should contact their RD or GRD to arrange a reasonable extension. After 10 am, access to residence buildings will be restricted until the spring semester opening on Sunday, January 12, 2014. Therefore, residents should to take everything they'll need curing the Christmas break.
