FREE FURNISHED APARTMENT FOR 2014-15 SCHOOL YEAR IN EXCHANGE FOR PET SITTING AND SOME CARE TAKING DUTIES FOR MY ADULT DAUGHTER I am a doctoral student in the Leadership Studies program. I won a grant to study and research in Zambia (Africa) next year. I am looking for two female students to live in my apartment in exchange for taking care of my things, my pets, and some care taking for my daughter. I have two small dogs (Pomeranian & Shih Tzu) and a cat. My 29 year old daughter with a disability lives in a group home about 10 minutes from here. Duties would include visits, managing her finances, taking her to appointments and shopping, etc. The rent is $750 a month, so this is a good deal! It is a two bedroom, two bath apartment in Spokane Valley, about 15-20 minutes from campus. Washer and dryer in unit. It's a small complex, friendly and safe. It comes with a garage and you can store stuff in there if needed. It's very close to gas stations, post office, grocery shopping, and Valley Mall. I have renter's insurance. Additionally, if you don't have transportation, we can talk about using my mini-van while I'm gone. There will be a rigorous application process. There will be an application to fill out and you will need ID. There will be a credit check and a background check. I will need to see your transcripts. You will need four references: a parent, a professor or teacher, a pastor or other spiritual leader, and an employer. Optionally, you may add one more person. From the application materials, I will do a first interview and create a short list. Then my daughter and I will interview the finalists. It is imperative that my daughter likes you.
