Welcome Non-Traditional Students!

Congratulations on your acceptance to Gonzaga University. We can now say a resounding, "We are GU!" You are about to embark on a new journey upon which you will touch the lives of many. You will be given the opportunity to "Unite in Tradition" with the Gonzaga community, so it is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the Gonzaga family, a family I am privileged to call my own.

My name is Shannon Hashiguchi, and I am the Academics and Special Populations Manager for Orientation Core 2012. Part of my responsibilities as Special Populations Manager includes planning and implementing events for you, the non-traditional/veteran/transfer students. We will have a couple of events specifically organized for non-traditional/veteran/transfer students, but I encourage you all to actively participate in all that Orientation has to offer as there are several fun activities and traditions you will not want to miss. If you have any questions throughout the summer regarding information Orientation Core sends to you, please feel free and encouraged to ask us.  I look forward to seeing you in August.
