A word from Orientation Core's Academics and Special Populations Manager...
Hello Zags! My name is Megan Soldati and I am the Academics and Special Populations Manager for Orientation Core. My team and I are incredibly excited to welcome you into our community! Throughout the summer and Orientation Weekend, we hope to prepare you for academic and student life at Gonzaga as much as possible. I encourage you to attend Orientation Weekend; it’s a great opportunity to get to know the Gonzaga community and meet fellow transfer, veteran, and returning adult students. You’re welcome at all Orientation events (you’ll receive your New Student Itineraries when you check in during the weekend), but I’ve highlighted just a few for you at the bottom of this page. Please be sure to be checking your ZagMails, and you’ll be receiving more information via snail mail as well. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me. Looking forward to meeting you all soon!

A word from the Coordinator of Transfer, Veteran, & Returning Adult Student Relations...
My name is Jaime Hollis and I would personally like to welcome you to Gonzaga University and invite you to attend New Student Orientation (August 29, 2013 - September 1, 2014). I serve as the Director for Student Special Populations at Gonzaga University.
As a former returning adult student, I understand transfer, veteran, and returning adult students face unique challenges when returning to college. Returning adult students are usually over the age of 24 and have gained life experience not typically found in the “traditional” 18-22 year old student population. MFost adult students are returning to school after an extended break from their educational journey and are often working full or part-time jobs; many are also parents or transitioning from military service to civilian life.

The Transfer, Veteran, and Returning Adult Services Office is here to help ensure you have a successful experience at Gonzaga. We work to connect you with all the available support services and resources that best meet your needs. We also serve as a place for you to connect with other transfer, veteran, and returning adult students at Gonzaga. Please feel free to stop by my office located in College Hall – 1912 Room. Our office is open Monday – Friday from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. You can also reach me anytime at hollis@gonzaga.edu or at (509) 313-5606.
