- that Spokane weather is constantly changing: what you're wearing in the morning has no reflection on what you'll be wearing in the afternoon
- that chili bowls go very fast
- to stock up on food before parents leave
- that FLEX dollars go fast if you order pizza every day
- that Russell Theater is a great source of entertainment
- to get more involved with intramural sports
- that University Ministry provides Pilgrimage, retreats, and masses as well as resources for non-catholic students
- to bring shower shoes
- not to miss the laundry sign-ups
- that there is very little closet space
- that the operator really does know everything
- that having a roommate can be a better experience than living in a single room
- that it gets easier after you adjust, so give it a few more weeks

- that one-credit activity classes are a great way to meet people
