Senior activities: Baccalaureate Mass, Graduation, Around the World

The annual Baccalaureate Mass took place at St. Aloysius Church on Saturday, May 12. This celebration represents the final blessing from Gonzaga to the outgoing seniors before they meet the "real world" with love and support of family, friends, faculty, and staff. The Mass gave seniors their opportunity to say "thank you" for the last four years.

Graduation day marks the culmination of four years of hard work and sacrifice. Family, friends and faculty filled the arena to applaud the accomplishments of the Class of 2001. Graduates, living in the moment and trying to take it all in, reflect on the amazing four years that have transpired.

Met with mixed emotions, they were excited about the completion of a major milestone in their lives, and yet found it difficult to believe that they won't be bumping into the same familiar faces in the halls every day. Gonzaga will always hold a special place in their hearts.

Gonzaga seniors parade through the streets, led by the infamous "pirate ship" for the annual Around the World event. This senior celebration featured a five-house cocktail party, and concluding ceremony at Jack and Dan's for those still standing.

Everday Life

A student hauls 2 months of laundry through the halls of Campion. For many students, doing their laundry and cleaning their rooms take a back seat to class, studies, and social activities, but not necessarily in that order.

Studying sure can be a drag. Two male students strut around in their finest evening attire to alleviate mounting stress.
