Help Build Relationships Over Borders ~ Volunteer with Los Embajadores!

Los Embajadores is seeking volunteers who:
· Have experience or interest in living in Mexico and Latin America
· Can communicate in Spanish (at least conversational level)
· Enjoy working with teens
· Are motivated to educate others about social justice issues
· Can facilitate a spiritually enriching service experience
· Are committed to 5 components of Los Embajadores: Service, Simple Living, Spirituality, Community, and Social Justice
· Want to provide a fun experiential learning opportunity for high school youth!

Where: Tijuana, Mexico and
Vicente Guerrero, Mexico (a village 5 hours south of TJ)

When: June 1- August 1, 2006 or March 25-31, 2006

(Summer volunteers would ideally be able to spend a full 2 months, or a minimum of 4 weeks)

Volunteer with Lutheran Volunteer Corps

The Lutheran Volunteer Corps is a year-long service program for people 21 and over seeking to unite faith, social justice, community living, and simplicity. Volunteers are matched with non-profit organizations in ten metropolitan areas across the United States. They work full-time in various positions ranging from direct social services, to political advocacy, community organizing, education, and activism while living in intentional community.
