The Inland Northwest Land Trust works with willing private landowners to preserve and protect the natural lands, waters, and working farms and forests of the Inland Northwest.
Volunteer Opportunities for 2007:
Help Preserve and protect the natural lands and working landscapes of the Inland Northwest. You CAN make a difference.
- Stewardship Field Crew: Help with locating and making property lines and corners. Experienced Surveyor, chainman, forester etc. preferred but we are willing to train. Experience using GPS and/or compass preferred. Must be able to volunteer weekdays for a total of 5-20 days in the field season.
- Stewardship Field Assistant: Biologists, geologists, and naturalists are welcome but we also need people who like to hike, take accurate notes, and take photographs. Must be able to volunteer weekdays with a commitment as short as 1 day.
- Event and Outing Assistant: As needed to volunteer for mostly weekend events and outings.
- Other Opportunities: From time to time we need people with skills or interest in birds/ornithology, botany, biology, and photography.
