Friends of the Centennial Trail
Welcome to Friends of the Centennial Trail!
Friends of the Centennial Trail is a non-profit organization that assists in the maintenance and development of the Spokane River Centennial Trail, it's adjacent parklands, and regional trails. Our organization was formed in 1992 and have been active in the community working toward the goal of the completion of the Trail. Our current projects include development of a conceptual plan to create a safer crossing at Mission Ave and Perry Street.
Volunteer Opportunities:
-
On April 14 our "Unveil the Trail," we gather volunteers to prepare the Trail for the upcoming season. This year we will be facilitating small maintenance projects including painting of lines, bulletin boards and other small general maintenance items, along with our clean-up.
-
During the Spring, Summer and Fall season certain volunteer activities are available, such as weeding along parts of the trail and other items that need attention, that would be coordinated by calling our office and/or adding your name to our volunteer opportunity list.
