Campus Kids

Campus Kids is a one-on-one, campus-based mentoring program focused on helping children grades 4th-6th succeed in academics and relationship building. From 3:30 - 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, you can find students and their GU mentors engaged in a variety of activities, working on homework and educational games together, and sharing a healthy snack. Mentors visit their mentee at school once a week, and participate in monthly Saturday activities. The program aims to establish successful relationships and provide opportunities for participation in varied academic, recreational, and social activities, while helping mentees create a vision for their future.

Campus Kids is a year-long commitment for GU students. We encourage mentors to consider committing to the program for longer than one year, but this is not a requirement. Anyone who loves working with children and seeks to create a positive impact in a child's life should apply.

If you have any questions, we encourage you to visit us at the CCASL II Mentoring House on campus, located along DeSmet circle between Campion dorms and the Honors house, or contact Bailley Wootton at 509-313-6821 (ext. 6821) or
