Zag Volunteer Corps

2013

Zag Volunteer Corps is a CCASL program with a 20-year history that connects Gonzaga students with the Spokane community for one day service blitzes. We provide our volunteers with experiential learning about community service, social justice, and Jesuit values. This year, we have 6 events, starting with New Student Orientation on Saturday, September 6th.

For our September event, we are excited to announce partnerships with the Boys and Girls club of Spokane CountyHabitat for Humanity, Spokane Lands Council, and the Washington Trails Association. This first event of the year is geared towards first-year students, though any current GU student may attend. Each of our events costs $5, which helps to offset the cost of transportation, a t-shirt for each participant, and supplies.
