Homeless Outreach

Homeless Outreach

Homeless Outreach is a program at Gonzaga that strives to provide opportunities for students that would like to aid the Spokane community in dignifying, uplifting, de-marginalizing, and connecting with the homeless population.  This mission is not effectively pursued by donating goods and time at institutions that provide services to the homeless, but with conscious, humble, selfless interactions that work to humanize and honor the homeless population as equal members of the human community.  This program seeks to raise awareness about what it means to be homeless and how every person can help without creating a stigma of shame.
