Faith and Justice Programs
Working collaboratively with University Ministry, CCASL provides opportunities for students to engage faith and justice through advocacy, reflection, and education.
The Ignatian Family Teach-in for Justice takes place each November. Leading up to the Teach-in and advocacy day in Washington, DC, students learn about Catholic social teaching and the history of the Jesuit martyrs. They prepare to meet with an elected official to advocate for immigration reform, environmental justice, and more.
The Catholic Relief Services Ambassadors Program engages the Gonzaga campus community to learn and act on social justice issues. Past events include a fair trade market on campus and an immigration dialogue series.
