Justice in January

Justice in January provides a winter break immersion trip for Gonzaga University students where they can grow as individuals, collaborate as a group, and learn more about the community they will serve. JIJ aims to accompany and serve the immigrant population in the United States, as well as to enter into dialogue with local non-profits and government agencies to understand a broader perspective on immigration and border issues in the US. Justice in January will take place during Christmas break from January 3rd-January 10th 2016.

Sites for 2015-16
  • Tucson, Arizona
  • San Diego, California

At the end of the year students from that year's trip are chosen to coordinate the next year's sites. These students are in charge of the various amounts of detailed work that goes into planning the program. We are always looking for motivated students and advisors for these wonderful service opportunities.
