Justice in January

Justice in January was started in 2011 based on a desire to expand CCASL's service opportunities for students at Gonzaga. The purpose of this program is to provide a winter break immersion trip for Gonzaga University students where they can grow as individuals, collaborate as a group, and learn more about the community they will serve. JIJ aims to accompany and serve migrant workers and immigrants in the United States, as well as to enter into dialogue with local non-profits and government agencies to understand a broader perspective on immigration in the US. At the end of the year students from that year's trip are chosen to coordinate the next year's sites. These students are in charge of the various amounts of detailed work that goes into planning the program. We are always looking for motivated students and advisors for these wonderful service opportunities.
