The focus of the San Diego and Tucson sites is immigration. During the immersion trip we will learn more about ourselves, our JIJ group and the community in which we serve. In the border cities of San Diego and Tucson we hope to get a holistic view of the immigration issue. We plan to work with children and education in San Diego, as well as with migrant families and adults in Tucson. More particularly, we hope to include a border tour, trial hearing, and learn from the stories of newly arrived immigrants.
Yes you can. Since Justice in January is at the end of Christmas break and Mission Possible are in the Spring it is possible to do more than one trip. You will still need to fundraise for each trip, and pay the $150 registration per trip.
