*Please note that although we try very hard to place you in your first choice for program and day, due to scheduling and availability we cannot guarantee your first choice. Therefore, all applicants will be considered for Connections and Campus Kids equally unless otherwise noted.
Campus Kids Campus Kids is a campus-based 1-on-1 mentoring program designed to help children in 4th, 5th, and 6th grades succeed in academics, relationship building, and making positive life choices by pairing them with a Gonzaga mentor and role model. Once a week, children visit their mentor on campus and are engaged in a variety of activities, including a group activity, individual tutoring time, and games. Outside of the Campus Kids day, Gonzaga mentors are required to visit their mentee for at least one hour a week at school, and further participate in a once-a-month Saturday activity with Campus Kids.
Connections Connections is a site-based 1-on-1 mentoring program designed to help 7th and 8th graders succeed in academics, relationship building, and making positive life choices by pairing them with a Gonzaga mentor and role model. Every Wednesday afternoon from 3:00-5:15pm Gonzaga volunteer mentors visit their mentee at their school and are engaged in a variety of activities, including a group activity, individual tutoring time, and games. Outside of Connections, Gonzaga mentors are required to visit their mentee for at least one hour a week at school, and further participate in a once-a-month Saturday activity with Connections.
