The Faith & Justice Series aspires to espouse Gonzaga's mission of preparing "enlightened dedication to the... ideals of justice and peace" and sparking a "restless curiosity, a desire for truth, a mature concern for others, and a thirst for justice" in our participants. All while supporting CCASL's mission of creating "men and women for others" by upholding the following objectives:
"Faith & Justice" will provide students, faculty, and staff with opportunities to convene together to explore pertinent social justice issues of our global and local communities.
The series offers a welcoming and comfortable environment that solicits a respectful, thoughtful, and educated dialogue. We hope to increase campus awareness about specific struggles, barriers, and inequalities present in our modern world, and encourage participants to become involved in campus and community efforts that address each month's social justice issue.
