Bailley Wootton - Mentoring Programs Coordinator

Bailley manages the mentoring programs at CCASL. She received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Pepperdine University and her master's degree in Social Work from Washington University in St. Louis. Bailley came to CCASL in September 2011 after working for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Middle Tennessee. She is originally from Spokane and is excited to be back in the Northwest! Brandi Praytor-Marsters - Middle School Mentoring Coordinator

Brandi joined the CCASL team in August of 2014 as the Middle School Mentoring Coordinator. She supervises four mentoring programs: Connections, GAME, Eye to Eye, and Zag Study Buddies. She has been in higher education for the past three years and enjoys assisting students in reaching their dreams. Brandi completed three terms of service for the Federal Way Public Schools AmeriCorps team. She is working toward a master’s degree in Student Affairs in Higher Education through Colorado State University, and received a B.S. in Sociology from the University of Idaho. Brandi enjoys spending summer days at the many beaches of Lake Coeur d’Alene. She likes camping, hiking, reading,

Chris Wheatley - Associate Director 

Chris joined the CCASL staff in January of 2013 as the Associate Director. Prior to CCASL, he served as the Assistant Manager of Student Publications at Gonzaga for over five years. Chris manages the academic service learning area of CCASL. Daniel Oppong - Smile and Zag Study Buddies Assistant

Daniel is new to the Gonzaga community and the CCASL team. He will be supervising both Smile and Zag Study Buddies. Originally from the Dallas area, he spent his undergraduate years studying Education at ACU and Hardin-Simmons, while also working for five years as a program coordinator and mentor to college students through a local non-profit. He is currently pursuing his MA in Organizational Leadership from Gonzaga University. In his free time, Daniel enjoys watching and playing sports, spending time in the company of great people over delicious meals, having meaningful and engaging conversations, and exploring everything that the Northwest has to offer with his lovely wife. Emily Paulson - Campus Kitchen Coordinator

Emily is the coordinator for the Campus Kitchen at Gonzaga University.  The Campus Kitchens Project utilizes food recovered from on-campus dining facilities to strengthen bodies, empower the minds of student volunteers, and build communities.  Emily graduated from Gonzaga with a BA in General Studies and an Elementary Education Endorsement.  Contact Emily for current volunteer opportunities at 509.313.6939 or at


Jeb Berg - Coordinator of Student Engagement

Jeb manages student-led co-curricular service-learning programs at CCASL. He joined CCASL in August 2010, returning to his alma mater after managing special event sales for the University of Utah and serving as an AmeriCorps volunteer at the House of Charity. After serving CCASL for the last two years as Program Assistant, he was promoted to his current position in June of 2012. Jordan Norton - Campus Kitchens Community Coordinator

Jordan is the Campus Kitchen Community Coordinator. He is an AmeriCorps member working to organize volunteers and coordinate with Community partners in the goal of feeding the hungry in Spokane. He is originally from Greeneville, TN and has spent the last 5 years in Knoxville, TN earning a B.S. in Environmental Studies with a Plant Science Concentration. He is interested in human nutrition and sustainable agriculture. In his spare time he enjoys reading, listening to new and interesting podcasts, and learning new and different martial arts. Lauren Mills - Campus Kids Coordinator

Lauren is the Campus Kids Program Coordinator at CCASL. She is a proud GU alum and graduated from Gonzaga in 2012 with a dual degree in Psychology and Sociology. Immediately after graduation, Lauren joined the Jesuit Volunteer Corps and spent a year in St. Louis, Missouri as an after school coordinator. Lauren is ecstatic to be back at Gonzaga and at CCASL- both communities hold a special place in her heart. Luisa Gallagher - Service Immersions Coordinator

Luisa is the Service Immersions Coordinator, overseeing immersion trips such as Mission: Possible, Justice in January, and Reality Camp.  Luisa is originally from Wollongong, Australia and is a Graduate of Wheaton College with her BA in Communication and her MA in Educational Ministry.  She began working at Gonzaga in the fall of 2011 after spending four years in Residence Life.  She is currently working on her Doctorate degree in Leadership Studies at Gonzaga University.  Luisa Gallagher can be contacted at 509.313.5543 or


Mary Kelly - Secretary

Mary enjoys working with the dynamic and committed staff and students at CCASL.  She joined the team in August 2010 and is happy to be back on campus working with the students of her alma mater.  After Graduating with a BA in Speech Communications, Mary spent 2 ½ years in Niger serving as an Environmental Protection Volunteer with the Peace Corps.  If you are considering post graduate service with Peace Corps, she invites you to stop by the office and talk.  It was an amazing experience which she is happy to share.  Mary is currently working on her Master’s degree Organizational Leadership.  She likes gardening, sports, and time in the great outdoors with her husband and their 4 energetic boys. Phoebe Oosterhuis - Program Assistant III

Phoebe joined CCASL as the Program Assistant in July of 2012 and she is thrilled to be a part of this organization. Originally from Minneapolis, she moved to Spokane in 2010 when her husband accepted a professorship at Gonzaga. Although she misses her family and friends (but not the mosquitos or humidity) in the Midwest, she has loved the opportunity to join the theater community in Spokane. She has appeared in several productions in the area. Phoebe has a BA from the College of St Benedict in St. Joseph, MN and she plans to start the Masters in Organizational Leadership in the spring of 2014. Tamera Pumphrey - Grant Accounting Assistant

Tamera is currently a senior at Gonzaga University majoring in Accounting and Human Resources with a minor in dance. Tamera is very involved in the academic dance program and the Boundless dance club on campus, while also serving as a coach at the North Central High School. A Spokane native, Tamera is proud to have provided accounting expertise to the West Central Community Center during summer of 2012. Todd Dunfield - Director

Todd has been committed to working in Jesuit Higher Education for over a decade and has specialized in the areas of residence life and civic engagement.  He returned to his alma mater in June of 2004, where in June of 2012 he was promoted to director.  During the past eight years Todd has overseen the development and implementation of CCASL's programs and activities.  Todd earned his master's degree in student affairs from Seattle University and graduated in the 2011 class of Leadership Spokane.  He is an avid bicycle commuter and can often be found hiking the trails of Washington and Idaho. The past few years he has also served as a committee member on the Advisory Council for Sustainability and Stewardship at Gonzaga University. William Cooney - GUSR Program Assistant

Will assists in running the Gonzaga University Specialized Recreation Program. He received his BA in History with a Minor in Communication from Hillsdale College in 2011 and is currently pursuing his MA in Communication and Leadership Syudies at Gonzaga University. Will joined CCASL in October of 2012 after working as an Adjunct Lecturer of Communication and Assistant Director of Forensics at Central Wyoming College.
