Club Sports

While some clubs bridge the gap between intramurals and varsity athletics as competitive (intercollegiate) teams, others maintain a completely recreational (non-intercollegiate) status and are open to all students. Our thirty-three (33) Club Sport programs are entirely student run and often include nationwide travel, regional competition, club events, fundraisers, and nearly always guarantee a close-knit community of friends and teammates.

While we applaud competition and student success on and off our campus, we ultimately recognize that Club Sport involvement provides students with irreplaceable personal and professional development opportunities. We guarantee that Club Sport members will have opportunities to engage in the domains of information acquisition, critical thinking, intrapersonal development, interpersonal competence, civic engagement, and practical competence. This engagement ensures not only a memorable and meaningful Club Sport experience, but also the development of skillsets desired by employers in nearly all fields. Club Sports get you involved, get you engaged, get you excited, and even get you jobs.
