Career Assessment Services

Assessments of self for personality type, values, and interests

These career assessments are available through the Gonzaga University Career & Professional Development office exclusively for members of the Gonzaga community (students, alumni, staff, faculty).

How do I take the assessments?

The first step for taking either the Strong Interest Inventory or the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator is to meet with a career counselor in Career & Professional Development. Please log into Handshake (www.gonzaga.joinhandshake.com) or call CPD at 509-313-4234 in order to schedule an appointment with the type “Learn More About Career Assessments”. During this appointment we will evaluate which assessments will be most beneficial for you and give you the password and login information for taking these assessments online.

Once you have met with a counselor and received your login information, you will compete the assessment(s) online. Next, you will receive an email from CPD within 2 business days of completing your assessments, providing you with instructions on how to sign up for the workshops where you receive your results. For each assessment you take, you are required to attend a one hour workshop or appointment to go over the assessment and your results report.

If you have any questions about this process, please contact the Career & Professional Development office at 509-313-4234.
