Just Desserts provides a welcoming environment for students, faculty, and staff to engage in open dialogue about pertinent social justice issues and encourages civic action in the community.

Goal/Objectives
"Just Desserts" aspires to espouse Gonzaga's mission of preparing "enlightened dedication to the... ideals of justice and peace" and sparking a "restless curiosity, a desire for truth, a mature concern for others, and a thirst for justice" in all participants, while supporting CCASL's mission of creating "men and women for others" by upholding the following objectives:
"Just Desserts" will...
- Provide students, faculty, and staff with opportunities to convene together to explore pertinent social justice issues of our global and local communities.
- Increase campus awareness about specific struggles, barriers, and inequalities present in our modern world.
- Cause students to think critically about these injustices by providing them with accurate information and compelling testimonies.
- Offer a welcoming and comfortable environment that solicits respectful, thoughtful, and educated dialogue.
- Encourage participants to become involved in campus and community efforts that address each month's social justice issue.
Schedule:
Monthly events(each focused on a particular topic) on the first Tuesday of every month, from 7:00pm to 9:00pm,
