Spring Break Spokane
Spring Break Spokane (SBS) is an alternative spring break program that aims to promote the community. It does so in two ways. First, Spring Break Spokane brings Gonzaga students together from different backgrounds, ages, and majors. Second, Spring Break Spokane also provides an opportunity for Gonzaga students to get involved with the issues in the Spokane community. (Let's break that Gonzaga bubble!)
Students participating in Spring Break Spokane will stay in Spokane for about half of their spring break (5 days) and volunteer at local service agencies. Spring Break Spokane is an excellent opportunity for students to personally address the issues that are affecting the Spokane community, and provides a great medium for meeting new people, both students and non-students alike.
Spring Break Spokane will take place from March 6th to March 10th. It costs $40 dollars to participate. Applications will be available starting October 5th in CCASL. Applicants will be taken on a first come first serve basis for the first 15 people.
