Over the past 11 years, Gonzaga University has been operating a program called Mission:Possible where groups of students travel to communities around the continental United States and serve the local communities in various ways. Typically each site ranges from 12-20 students and includes one student coordinator and at least one University Advisor who is either a staff or faculty member. |

Students are chosen in late September as participants in M:P and begin their fundraising and organizing shortly after. The bulk of the fundraising takes place through a letter writing campaign to family and friends asking for donations. The entire group leaves on the first Saturday of Spring Break and returns one week later. |
|
At the end of the year students from that year's trip are chosen to coordinate the next year's sites. These students are in charge of the various amounts of detailed work that goes into planning the program. Other information is available through this year’s M:P coordinators or through Hilary Case, Coordinator of Student Engagement at CCASL. We are always looking for motivated students and advisors for these wonderful service opportunities! |
