SPOKANE, Wash. -- Gonzaga University is one of 16 institutions selected to host the first- and second-rounds of the 2011 NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament, by the NCAA. The Bulldogs will host first- and-second round games at the McCarthey Athletic Center, between March 19-22, 2011. This marks the first time Gonzaga has hosted an NCAA postseason event. Unlike the men's tournament, if the Gonzaga women qualify for the 2010-11 NCAA tournament, they would play on their home court.
