| Hibbs, Barrus Earn Law Scholarships | |||||
|
Genna Hibbs was awarded the Lee & Hayes IP Scholarship, while Christopher Barrus received the Technology Law Scholarship, whose benefactor is businessman Daniel Fratini. Hibbs is a second-year student who says she was drawn to Gonzaga by its commitment to service. She chose intellectual property law to “help improve the effectiveness and accessibility of genetic technology to society as a whole.” Her own mother’s battle with Parkinsons disease has inspired Hibbs to pursue Biotechnology IP. Upon completion of law school, she hopes to work with litigation and lobbying in biotechnology at the federal level.
Upon graduation, Barrus hopes to work for a firm that does medical device patents, as well as practice IP work. About Lee & Hayes, pllc About Daniel Fratini |
