| Gonzaga English Professor Launches Book of Poems | |
|
Gonzaga University Professor Maya Jewell Zeller is launching her book, Rust Fish, at Spokane Community College in The Hagan Foundation Center for the Humanities, located on the second floor of the library. The event will include a reading and is free to the public. The book, published by Lost Horse Press, has won much praise already. According to Jonathan Johnson, published poet and associate professor of English at Eastern Washington University, Rust Fish shouldn’t be missed. “Maya Zeller's american northwest is a land of verdant sensuality, insistent yet fragile and intimate as it was in the eyes of Roethke, storied in mossy and weathered details, human ruin and hard won grace as it was in the heart of Kesey,” said Johnson. |
