C-SPAN Comes to Campus April 1
C-SPAN’s mobile unit will be parked in front of the Crosby Student Center on the Gonzaga University campus from 1-3:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 1 to discuss media, public affairs, and C-SPAN’s programming and free educational resources.

The theme of the current C-SPAN bus tour is civics. Also, for juniors and seniors, C-SPAN will give out information on its internship program. C-SPAN will accept all majors and is looking for students interested in communications and politics. If you are looking to gain media experience, explore facets of the cable industry and politics, learn new skills in production, public relations, marketing, and earn college credit, then stop by on Wednesday to get more information on a great internship opportunity.

Whether you’re interested in their internship program or are a fan of C-SPAN, drop by the C-SPAN Bus on Wednesday afternoon. You must be currently pursuing a bachelor's degree to be considered for an internship. First priority is given to rising juniors and seniors. This is an unpaid internship.

C-SPAN interns arrive from colleges and universities worldwide with majors ranging from political science and communications to marketing and American studies. Intern classes are small, between one to four students per department, providing an opportunity for a hands-on, real-life experience. Interns also have an opportunity to interact with interns from other departments at events and discussions, including a Q&A with CEO and founder Brian Lamb.
