Gonzaga University music Associate Professor Kevin Hekmatpanah will perform a cello recital concert at 4 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 15 at St. Augustine Catholic Church at 428 W. 19th Ave., in Spokane. The pianist is Sheila Zilar-Gephart. The program will consist of Boccherini’s “Sonata in A Major,” Schumann’s “Adagio & Allegro,” Paganini’s “Variations on a Theme of Rossini,” Chopin’s “Polonaise Brilliante” and Brahms’ “Sonata No. 1.” The concert is free and open to the public, and a free-will offering will be accepted.
