Gonzaga University President Rev. Robert J. Spitzer, S.J., based on the recommendation of the Committee on Rank and Tenure, has approved the following promotion petitions which will become effective Sept. 1 (2009).

From assistant to associate professor: Kirk Besmer, College of Arts and Sciences; Julius Ciaffa, College of Arts and Sciences; Eric Cunningham, College of Arts and Sciences.

From associate professor to full professor: Daniel Butterworth, College of Arts and Sciences; Molly Kretchmar-Hendricks, College of Arts and Sciences; Ta-Tao Chuang, School of Business Administration; Albert Fein, School of Education.
