GU Symphony Orchestra to Perform in Concert Dec. 8

The Gonzaga Symphony Orchestra will perform its annual winter concert at 7:30 p.m., Monday, Dec. 8 at the Bing Crosby Theatre, (formerly the MET Performing Arts Center), at 901 W Sprague Ave., downtown Spokane.

Conducted by Kevin Hekmatpanah, the orchestra will present Mozart’s Overture to “The Marriage of Figaro,” Rimsky-Korsakov’s “Capriccio Espagnol,” and Rachmaninoff’s “Symphony No. 3.” 

The concert is open to the public and free for Gonzaga University students, faculty and staff. Tickets are $5 non-Gonzaga U. students, $7 for general admission and will be available at the music department office before the concert and at the door on the evening of the concert.

There will be a free shuttle bus leaving from St. Aloysius Church at 6:45 and 7:10 p.m. and returning to GU after the concert.
