GU-Strong Way Off-Broadway Theatre Presents '3:1'

The Way off-Broadway Theatre Group -- comprised of many Gonzaga University folks -- presents "3:1," three one-act plays in one show.

The presentation will feature three short plays: "The Siren Song of Stephen Jay Gould," by Benjamin Bettenbender; "The Right to Remain," by Melanie Marnich; and "Helen at Risk," by Dana Yeaton. Performances will be held at 7 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 18 at Gonzaga Prep; at 6:30 p.m., Friday, Sept.19 at the Empyrean Coffee House; at 7 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 20 at the Empyrean Coffee House; and at 4 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 21 at the Empyrean Coffee House. General admission is $7, $5 for students.

The three plays are directed by 2007 Gonzaga alumni Jeff Rosick and Chris Wheatley and includes GU senior Kathryn Parker. Starring in the plays are 2008 Gonzaga alumni Katie Roth and Noah Tierney along with GU sophomores Katie Haster and Kevin Parker. The show is stage-managed by Gonzaga junior Millie Duchow. Brian Russo, associate professor of theatre arts at Gonzaga, is the show's artistic director.
