The Gonzaga Symphony Orchestra will perform its season finale concert at 7:30 p.m., Monday, April 28 at the Bing Theater (formerly the MET Performing Arts Center), at 901 W. Sprague Ave., downtown Spokane.

Conducted by Kevin Hekmatpanah, the program will feature winners of the Young Artists’ Concerto/Aria Competition. The winners are all students at Gonzaga. The program also includes Dvorak’s “Carnival Overture” and Stravinsky’s “Firebird Suite.” Tickets are $7 general admission and $5 for non GU students, and are available at the door.

Tickets are free to GU students, faculty and staff. A free shuttle bus will leave from St. Aloysius Church at 6:45 p.m. and 7:10 p.m., and will return following the concert. For more information, contact the music department at (509) 323-6733, or visit its Web site at
